About John

I’m an assistant professor at the University of Colorado Boulder with a PhD in Spanish and Comparative Literature from Cornell University. I specialize in Latin American and U.S. Latinx literature, Indigenous studies, and border and migration studies. Active Practice (15–20 min): Guided application of concepts—through writing, problem-solving, or analysis. Wrap-Up & Next Steps (5 min): Recap key takeaways and assign a brief follow-up task or reading.
