About Sophia
I am an Ontario Certified Teacher Candidate expected to complete my OCT certification in May 2024. I have a BA in English and am passionate about providing students with a safe and inclusive learning environment that allows them to grow and excel across all subjects. I currently work as a teacher at an enrichment learning centre where I teach math and English to students from SK-grade 5. I have worked with students of various backgrounds, students that are not native english speakers, and students with various exceptionalities. I use a variety of manipulatives, activities, tools, and resources in my teaching to ensure student growth and success.
