About Giorgia
Hi, my name is Giorgia and I’m a second-year Law student at the University of Exeter. I specialise in tutoring GCSE Geography, History and Religious Studies, as well as A-Level Psychology, Politics and Religious Studies. I achieved strong grades in these subjects myself and now enjoy helping other students feel more confident and capable in their learning.
I want to teach because I genuinely enjoy explaining ideas in a clear and supportive way and seeing students grow in confidence. Having recently been through GCSEs and A-Levels, I understand the pressures students face and what examiners are really looking for. I’m particularly passionate about helping students with essay writing, revision techniques and exam skills so that they can not only understand the content, but perform well under exam conditions.
My aim is to make learning feel less stressful and more achievable, while helping each student reach their full potential

My approach to tutoring is supportive, structured and focused on building confidence as well as strong exam technique. I believe the key to success is not just understanding the content, but knowing how to apply it in exams, so I place a strong emphasis on exam skills, essay structure and answering questions effectively.
As a current university Law student, I am very familiar with what examiners look for and how to achieve high marks in essay-based subjects. I break down complex topics into clear, manageable explanations and tailor each lesson to the student’s learning style and current level.
I aim to create a calm and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I regularly use past exam questions, model answers and targeted feedback to help students improve quickly and see real progress. My goal is to help each student build confidence, independence and the skills they need to succeed in their exams
