About Ali
I am Civil engineering lecturer at Manukau Institute of Technology (MIT) and have been successful in developing and delivering civil engineering courses and have received two excellence awards for teaching and highly commended. Also, I have a teaching collaboration with Auckland University of Technology (AUT) as a co-lecturer.

My goal in teaching is to create a high-quality learning environment with maximum engagement.
I believe in student-centred and technology-enhanced teaching methods but still think the combination of teacher-centred and student-centred is the most effective teaching method.
I have good experience in on-campus and online teaching.
