About Anne-Marie
Hello!
I am happy to help you with your learning across a range of humanities subjects and/or US university admissions. I hold an MA and PhD from Duke University in the US, and I have over ten years of teaching experience across secondary and university-level History, English, and Politics. I have taught GCSE, A-level, IB, and university level, and I have acted as an examiner for A-level Politics and IB History. I have also advised students and families on US university admissions processes.
I enjoy working with students on a one-to-one basis, such that I was awarded the Dean's Award for Excellence in Mentoring from Duke University. I have worked with students across a variety of national, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. I am enthusiastic, encouraging, and seek to help you unlock your potential through tutoring.
