About ام
I am an academic Arabic lecturer based in Durham, holding a Master’s degree in linguistics. Beyond academia, I write traditional Arabic poetry (الشعر العمودي) and short stories, giving me a deep connection to the language. Previously, I taught high school students, which helped me understand exactly which grammar topics students struggle with or need more practice in. Teaching is my true passion, and I am dedicated to helping my students achieve their academic and linguistic goals
