I simplify, engage and build, to make academic English and University-level poetry and literature relevant and accessible to students with learning disabilities or students from non-humanities backgrounds. I use a mixed self-validation and external rewards motivation system to ensure that my students learn effectively and efficiently during each session and feel confident in their new skills and driven to apply them at the end of each session.
