About Tiana
Hey! My name is Tiana and I’m a Law undergrad at the University of Liverpool. I always struggled with English but through the help of teachers and my peers I managed to get a 9 in both literature and language at GCSE level and a B in A level. If you told year 11 me this would happen I wouldn’t have believed you but I the confidence and help I received I want to help give to you guys so you can excel and get those top grades you want!

I use a student-centred approach, tailoring each lesson to individual needs. This might include breaking down exam questions step-by-step, practising essay writing, or strengthening key skills like analysis and interpretation. I also incorporate past papers and real exam techniques to help students feel fully prepared and confident going into their exams. Lesson Structure • Standard Lesson: 1 hour • Extended Lesson: 1 hour 30 minutes (for an additional £15) Lessons are usually structured around clear goals — for example, reviewing a specific topic, improving essay structure, or tackling areas the student finds challenging. Qualifications and Experience I’ve volunteered at both primary and secondary schools, supporting students with their English studies. This experience has given me a solid understanding of how to adapt my teaching to suit different learning styles and levels of ability. Who My Lessons Are For I teach GCSE and A Level English students, helping them develop their reading, writing, and analytical skills to reach their academic goals.
