About Atefeh
I am a PhD student in Mathematics at the University of Victoria with several years of teaching experience at colleges and universities in Canada. I have taught mathematics, statistics, business math, and related courses to students with different backgrounds and learning styles.
I enjoy teaching because I like helping students understand difficult ideas in a simple and practical way. My goal is not only to help students solve problems, but also to help them understand the reasoning behind each step and become more confident in mathematics.
I am patient, organized, and comfortable explaining the same concept in different ways until it becomes clear. I work with high school and university students in subjects such as Precalculus, Calculus, Statistics, and university-level Mathematics.
