About Cynthia
I am a Master of Teaching (Secondary) student at The University of Melbourne and I have privately tutored English, years 7-VCE for 5 years. I have worked for an elite tutoring company in Ivanhoe for 3 years and was an academic tutor for The Faculty of Business and Economics at The University of Melbourne for 1 year. I am currently a tutor and mentor for the Mirabel Foundation and can provide literacy lessons for students with learning disabilities. I have been trained as a tutor by the Williams Centre for Learning Advancement, that is connected with The University of Melbourne.

I adapt each lesson to the particular needs of the student. I am able to find their weakness and build their confidence and skills in English, to improve and advance their grades. I understand that students can find literacy and English difficult, and am able to recognise if we need to go back a few steps (e.g. Grammar and Syntax) in order to progress in their writing.

Cynthia is an excellent and experienced English tutor who has helped a range of students with different learning styles. She is able to cater the lesson to best suit the student and provide practical help as well as insightful advice.
