About Ben
I am a 4th year Biochemistry Student at the University of Oxford. I obtained 10 grade 9 GCSEs, and 4 A* A levels, and am predicted to obtain a 1st in my degree. I've obtained scholarships and studentships for my achievements, and aim to inspire this same work ethic in my students. My tutoring approach combines academics with personal mentoring, where I aim to understand the motivations behind each student to inspire a sustainable work ethic students take with them for the rest of their lives. Education and learning go beyond academics, and I feel as though it is important to understand each student's idea of success to help them open doors that would otherwise seem difficult to reach. Outside of academics, I play football for the University of Oxford Men's first team, enjoy cooking and spending time with mates.

I organise lessons into topics tailored to the student's needs, and provide strong foundations for students aiming to pass or those aiming for A*. I'll start by covering the main topic, and go on to practise questions that will stretch even the most capable students. My lessons are interactive and engaging, and I promote a comfortable learning atmosphere to ensure I get the best out of my students. - Lessons are 1-2 hours long, and can be booked in blocks - I have 50hr+ experience for other tutoring companies such as Oxford and Cambridge Tutors and Medic Mind - Can teach at any ability level - Can provide Biochemistry or Biology mock interviews, which have previously enabled students to receive offers from their desired colleges

Ben is a fantastic tutor. He gave my son tutoring in Biology to help him prepare for his Biology GCSE. His instruction was clear and easy to understand.
