About Lauren
I graduated from the University of Oxford with a first class degree in History last year. Having tutored for six years, i find great joy in helping others understand the nuances of english essay writing. I understand the minefield which sitting essay-based exams can feel like and want to help others by aiding them to spot the patterns within exam questions and routes towards top level answers using simple structures.

I am a patient and encouraging tutor who understands that each student learns in a different way. Resultantly, I can adapt each tutoring session to individual students' needs.
After discussing a students wishes for outcomes from our sessions I will form lesson materials, questions and help sheets. I have experience guiding students through Oxbridge applications, to GCSE revision and essay writing techniques to helping younger children master their reading and writing skills early on.
