About George
I've just finished my 2nd year studying for my undergraduate degree at the University of Oxford. I read Philosophy and Modern Languages (Spanish) and I'm passionate about what I do. I want to support my students to achieve the grades they want at GCSE or A level and have the best chance they can at a successful application to university. Before attending university, I was involved in the world of competitive debating and was a member of Team England in 2023.

Academic tutor for Spanish at GCSE or A level. (Optional Oxbridge application advice and interview preparation.) I always look to cultivate a wider passion in the subjects I teach, believing that this both helps motivate students and develop the kind of reading and critical thinking skills that top universities like Oxford and Cambridge look for in potential applicants. I often recommend wider reading from my own university reading lists that I think the student could manage. Lessons are usually 1 hour but I can accommodate up to 2 hour sessions if needed. I have tutored three students, one of whom achieved an A* in his Spanish GCSE and the other two will hopefully receive A* or As in their upcoming A level results.
