About Lourita
As most people know, Teaching is a passion. I am a sociable person and enjoy working with people. I enjoy teaching and interacting with learners to enable them to learn, prosper and grow as individuals and professionally.
I have taught learners ranging from ages 14 to 18 but I am flexible and able to teach younger learners too.

I believe learning can only take place if students are actively involved in the learning process, my teaching style is to not only teach students but to enable them to be actively involved in the learning process to ensure learning takes place successfully and the students reach their goals.
I am fluent in Afrikaans and English and can teach in both languages. I can teach learners on any learning level.
My focus is Teaching English Language, Teaching the Four Skills, Teaching Business English, teaching other subjects in English such as Business Studies and preparing Learners for an English Language Examination.
My lessons are adapted according to the students’ learning needs and goals. Typically, my lessons start with a warmer, we then focus on the content, assessment and evaluation and end off with a cooler. I like to incorporate various activities into my lesson, so the lesson is fun and interactive and students focus is maintained.
I always present learners the opportunity to ask questions and I am always available to aid and assist in areas that students require extra assistance.
