About Paul
I fell in love with music at a very early age and from about 11 or 12 years old, I knew that I wanted to make music my whole life. I've been in bands since I was 13, studied music both at Pretoria Boys High School and then later on at TUKS where I obtained an Honors degree in Music Communication. I also run my own studio called Asylum Studios, which has been offering production, recording and rehearsal facilities for over 20 years. I am a multi-instrumentalist specializing in guitar, bass and drums.

I believe that music is our most sacred art form. It has the ability to transform, inspire and compel others to a different level of thinking and feeling. I try to provide students with a holistic approach to their musical careers and make lessons fun, focused but also lighthearted and playful. I teach in English and Afrikaans and am adept in teaching Trinity, RSBM and Unisa syllabi. I am a full-time working musician and recording artist with over 20 years experience, with much knowledge to pass on.
