About Irene
English and writing have always been my greatest passions, and I've loved teaching ever since helping my younger sister as she grew up. In my years as a student, I have thrived in rigorous academic environments, and have had much of my own writing published, both online and in a literary review. I bring both real experience, and total enthusiasm to my teaching.

My lessons are one to two hours long, providing engaging, focused, and effective support in English literature and language, reading, essay and exam writing, and creative writing. I also have experience in both Classics and Philosophy and can help students develop strong critical and analytical skills across related subjects.
My teaching is discussion-based and highly communicative. I place emphasis on building confidence and nurturing each individual student's curiosity and genuine interests within the subject.
Lessons are suitable for students throughout secondary school, as well as sixth form and A-Level students.
