About Matilda
I am a university student currently studying in America (but I will be home over the summer, and can always work online in the UK time zone!) I received an A* in my GCSEs in Maths, English Language, and English literature, and an A in my Maths A Level. It's always been fun to teach and get to know students, and I have 2 years of experience teaching a primary school student all manner of subjects, and helping GCSE students prepare for their exams.

Maths and reading comprehension luckily come naturally to me, but I know that isn't the case for everyone. These subjects are tricky and involve explanations tailored to how the specific student learns best, and avoiding being patronizing. I always start with getting to know the student, before moving on to work on questions that target problem areas, in 1-2 hour long lessons. I have experience with students from ages 11-16, but can work with children at any level of primary or secondary education.
