About Kierstin
Hi! My name is Kierstin, and I am a college student with a strong academic background and a passion for helping others learn. Throughout my education, I have developed strong math skills and understand that many students simply need concepts explained in a way that makes sense to them.
I am patient, reliable, and committed to creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to build their confidence and problem-solving abilities.

My approach to tutoring is centered around patience, encouragement, and building a strong understanding of mathematical concepts. Rather than simply providing answers, I guide students through problems step by step so they can develop confidence and problem-solving skills on their own.
A typical lesson begins with reviewing homework, classwork, or any topics the student is struggling with. What sets me apart is my ability to explain concepts in a simple and relatable way. As a college student, I understand that every student learns differently, and I focus on making math less intimidating and more engaging.
My lessons are ideal for elementary and middle school students who need help with homework, test preparation, or strengthening their foundational math skills. Whether a student is working on basic arithmetic, fractions, decimals, pre-algebra, or other grade-level concepts, I strive to help them build confidence and develop a positive attitude toward math.
