About Emily
I am a university student studying a joint major in Computer Science and Biology at McGill, based in Montreal. I graduated with Honour roll + Dean’s list as a Marianopolis alumni. If you think studying is boring, then you won't after taking tutoring lessons with me. I love to make my lessons interactive and fun! I am someone who lightens up the mood easily and likes to crack a joke or two to motivate my students. My goal is not just to help you understand the material but to make learning an enjoyable experience. By incorporating games, real-life examples, and engaging activities into our sessions, I ensure that you stay interested and invested in your studies. My approach to tutoring is always student-centered, adapting my teaching methods to fit each child’s unique learning style. I used visual aids, hands-on activities, and interactive discussions to make complex concepts more accessible. I assisted students in developing effective study plans, teaching them time management and organizational skills to ensure they could balance their academic responsibilities with other activities.
I offer lessons for kids that are still in primary school, all the way up to high school/CEGEP. I can also help your kids with high school entrance exams in any subject.
