About Lauren
As I am at university, I havent had the opportunity to officially tutor people but I have set up a highly successful Sign Language society, where I have been teaching the fundementals of sign language to a number of smaller concentrated groups of about 12. I believe this allows me to see how each student is progressing.
The society has veen running for 1 year and is set to continue.
The students I have taught have been more confident when presented with a situation where they are required to use British Sign Language.

I am currently studying at University.
Want to learn a new skill? Want to learn a new language without the added pressure of a classroom?
I will be teaching Level 1 basics of Level 1 Signiture accredited qualification in British Sign Language. I will be able to tailor each of my lesson plans to each student, ensuring they meet their personal and academic goals and give them the tools they need, in order to communicate efficiently within the deaf community.
If there are parents who have a child who is deaf and are unable to communicate with them - I am here! We can work through your situation, making it informative for you and engaging for your child.
Young children will be introduced to an array of games and interactive activities to enhance their learning.
Adults - 15+ We will use a more professional approach with learning basic signs and also talking more about deaf awareness within a hearing community.

All lessons need to be booked in advance and paid for in cash. If you cancel, you need to give at least 3 days notice or you will still need to pay the full price. If it is due to illness, let me know and we can rearrange another date without penalty charge.
