About Arvin
I graduated from high school with a perfect 100 average in my home country and began my university studies there. After immigrating, I returned to high school to complete the necessary courses for Canadian university admission, where I achieved an impressive average of 98. This journey means I’ve studied the courses I now teach twice—both in my home country and in Canada—along with related university-level courses.
My diverse educational background equips me to offer a deep and nuanced understanding of the material. I know firsthand the importance of confidence in studying, and I strive to build this confidence in my students through engaging and problem-solving-focused lessons. My aim is to help students not only grasp the concepts but also excel and feel assured in their abilities.
Whether you're in grade 10, 11, or 12, my teaching is tailored to meet your needs and make learning both effective and enjoyable. With my experience and bilingual proficiency in English and Persian, I’m dedicated to creating a supportive and motivating environment where students can thrive.

My teaching philosophy centers around active learning. I encourage students to engage directly with the material by working through problems and applying concepts in practical scenarios. This hands-on approach helps students understand and retain information more effectively.
A typical lesson begins with a brief review of the previous material to ensure continuity and reinforce learning. We then introduce new concepts, breaking them down into manageable parts. I incorporate plenty of practice problems, guiding students through the initial ones and then encouraging them to tackle more challenging exercises independently.
My lessons are designed for high school students in grades 10-12. Whether you're struggling with a specific topic, preparing for exams, or simply looking to improve your understanding, my sessions are tailored to meet your needs.
