About Emma
I am a first-year university student. I am studying education for the Intermediate Phase. I have always had a passion for learning and knowledge, so for me it naturally led to a passion for teaching and sharing knowledge. I have won awards in creative writing and a national Mathematics competition. But, truly, I find most of my love for English. I love to read, and, no, I do not have a favorite genre. I explore English in its different forms, being writing, reading, analyzing and even speaking it. I thoroughly enjoyed public speaking and presentations during my time in school. I strive to help students understand English, like any other subject it is one that needs to be grasped. I encourage those I help to explore their imagination and the ways in which English welcomes it. As well, I understand that there are those that just wish to pass it, and I will more than happily assist.

I teach English in English. The way to understand a language is to speak and read it. I want to teach Primary School learners. As a teacher, I am patient, and when I see you need a push, I will push. However, I strongly believe that learning and education should be not only enjoyable but also in a safe and comfortable environment. I can help you understand and apply English, in whichever form it is you need assistance with. I was a passionate learner, now I wish to be a passionate teacher.
