I have several years experience tutoring at math labs, learning centers, in the classroom, and privately, so I have picked up tips and advice concerning education. I also have a degree in math, so I offer a depth of knowledge in this particular subject some tutors don't have.

I first try to gauge your knowledge. Then I break down the problem so that we're on the same, explaining important concepts and ideas. Next using what you know now, you get the solution with me there for support. I use this method so that student develop the ability to work independently.
