About Zeyd
I'm a second-year Computer Science student at the University of Toronto with a strong mathematical background, having completed university-level calculus, linear algebra, and discrete mathematics. I graduated high school with the highest academic average in my class and am committed to bringing that same dedication and work ethic to every tutoring session. I'm patient, reliable, and genuinely invested in my student's progress. My goal is to make sure every student leaves each session with a clearer understanding than when they came in.

My approach focuses on building genuine understanding rather than just memorizing formulas. I work with students to develop strong fundamentals and real intuition for mathematical concepts, so that when they encounter harder topics, they have the foundation to figure things out rather than feeling lost. A typical lesson involves identifying where a student is struggling, working through the concept from the ground up, and practicing enough that it clicks.
Beyond the math itself, I emphasize healthy study habits and patience. I want to make sure students understand that mistakes are a normal part of learning and one of the best ways to improve, not something to feel discouraged by.
My goal is to build the kind of mathematical confidence and discipline that carries students successfully into higher level courses. These lessons are ideal for middle and high school students looking to strengthen their understanding of math and set themselves up for long term academic success.
