About Sarah
I have three years of experience teaching children's summer theater, art, and play camps. I have multiple years of experience tutoring incoming college students ahead of their BFA program auditions. I really enjoy working one on one with students to perfect our pieces. We will begin all classes doing a physical and vocal warm-up (that fits your needs as a student!), we will play games that help us unlock our authentic selves, and then we will dive into our scene and monologue work.

Hi! My name is Sarah and I'm a university-trained actor living in New York City working professionally as an actor and theater maker. I am a patient, empathetic teacher with a passion for collaboration and finding the perfect audition monologue for you.
I love diving into script analysis and figuring out how to help actors' real selves shine through while performing. I read plays all day and am always looking to find the best monologues and scenes to work on in acting classes that best show off actors' work. I love contemporary plays featuring interesting, strong, and diverse characters and helping actors find and rehearse audition monologues that you connect to and feel confident performing.
I also love helping actors rehearse and find scenes that fit their authentic selves. I have years of experience in Shakespeare and classical theater and enjoy helping actors find perfect Shakespearean monologues for auditions. I want to help you feel confident and passionate about your acting skills.
I teach students of all ages and experience levels :)
