About Jessica
I have been tutoring secondary school pupils through my whole high school career, in order to get some extra income and to gain more confidence in my knowledge. I am a passionate Social Science undergraduate at the Unversity of Aberdeen. Since English is not my first language, I had to take the IELTS test before applying. I was very pleased with my results and now I hope to be able to help and coach students struggling with their reading, listening, writing and speaking skills.
I am the perfect tutor for you, even though you are not taking the IELTS test specifically. In fact, I take languages very seriously and I consider them my major free time activity. I am currently fluent in Italian, Spanish, German and French and my latest project is mastering the Arabic language.
I always make sure that the student's expectations are met, so the very first lesson is normally an introduction where we can get to know each other and start planning a class tailored to your needs. During my personal study sessions, I like to work on all the skills and this is also how I (generally) structure my lessons. To help you improve your reading, speaking, writing, and listening abilities we will use IELTS material but also a series of interactive resources I will personally gather for you, such as movies, music, games, podcasts, radio, books, etc..
