About Melissa
Hello! My name is Melissa.
I am a languages student at a prestigious UK university and I love to meet new people.I have lots of interests which span all across humanities subjects and even dabbling into social sciences when I have the time! I am a big reader, writer and learner and I love to help others in their learning journey.
I have experience of teaching in high schools and remember how hard school can be. I definitely believe that a tutor should be a great helping hand whilst also providing a fun, unique and different approach which enriches your personal lives as well as your academic careers!
Outside of learning and teaching, I am a mother (which means I have a lot of patience), an ex- pro wrestler and dancer.

My lessons are tailored to each student for their individual interests and needs. I use a combination of excellent primary and secondary resources alongside games, puzzles and oral practice in order to tailor to every student’s way of learning whether that is visual, kinesethic or auditory.
I always introduce myself thoroughly to any new studentsin order to create a trusting and friendly environment as I believe this is important for motivation and for my student’s general well-being!
I encourage parents of young learners to participate in any lessons with their child as this is a sure way to enhance their motivation and performance. It is also a great way for you and your child to bond, by discovering something new together!
