About Aleksandr
Like many students, I struggled with math in high school—at times, I even hated it. But once I got to post-secondary, I realized it’s a whole new level out there, with even less support than before. That’s why I don’t just want to be your tutor—I want to be your friend. As a friend, my goal is to guide you toward success in high school so that when you move on to university, college, or any post-secondary path, math becomes less intimidating and more of a fun, manageable subject. I wasn’t an overachiever or a “math nerd” who breezed through everything. I’ve been through the same struggles, and that’s exactly why I want to share the tips, tricks, and approaches that would have made math easier for me back then—so they can help you now.

I believe learning should feel engaging and approachable, not like a chore. My goal is to make math clear, understandable, and even enjoyable for every student I work with.
I am patient, supportive, and committed to helping students with homework, reviewing course material, and building confidence in areas where they may be struggling. I am fluent in both English and Russian, which allows me to explain concepts in a simple, easy-to-digest way.
I tutor all levels of high school math—including arithmetic, algebra, and introductory calculus—with confidence. To best support you, I only ask that you show me how your teacher prefers you to demonstrate your work, so I can match their expectations and avoid confusion.
Whether you need help with a specific class or want a clearer understanding of math in general, I will guide you step by step and adapt my teaching style to fit your needs.

Aleksandr is very thorough in his explanations. He taught me all the basics of Blender, and now I can build my own 3D printable models, who knows, maybe one day I'll be able to sell them. Additionally, he helped me a lot by sharing his most-used addons in Blender. So far, I've been able to exceed past the basic YouTube videos and excel in independent thinking when it comes to building 3D models, all thanks to this great instructor and friend. I would definitely recommend Aleks.
