Hello, I'm Marissa, a compassionate and driven individual deeply invested in psychology and mental health. Graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Utah in May 2024 was a significant milestone for me—one that solidified my commitment to understanding and supporting those navigating the complexities of the mind.
Working full-time in the mental health field has allowed me to translate my academic knowledge into real-world impact. Witnessing the positive changes in individuals' lives fuels my passion for helping others and reinforces my belief in the power of empathy and support.
I'm thrilled to share that I've been accepted into the Master of Social Work program at the University of Utah, a step that will further equip me with the skills and insights needed to make a tangible difference in the mental health community. This opportunity excites me as I look forward to expanding my expertise and contributing more meaningfully to the well-being of those in need.
