About Olivia
I am passionate about sociology, ever since taking it at A level I developed a love for the subject and all the areas it has to provide. During A level I obtained an A grade allowing me to continue studying sociology at the University of York. During my A levels I also had private tutoring and it helped me turn my grades from a D to an A, allowing me to continue to my first choice university. I was in your position not too long ago so I understand the difficulties and stresses that come with academics, so I hope to create a stress-free environment to help you develop your skills and maintain grades that you are proud of.

During sessions I will provide many different techniques tailored to each student. Depending on their needs I will help them with their understanding of key topics and thinkers. I will also help plan essays, providing them with key analysis and evaluation and a good consistent structure to follow. As well as this I can help provide feedback on any assessment completed, providing them help on what went wrong and changes to make for next time. Sessions will be around 1 hour, with opportunity to extend if necessary. I can provide my own personal knowledge as I gained an A grade in history and sociology A level and have continued on to complete an undergraduate degree at the University of York studying Sociology with social psychology. I can provide my lessons for A level students (16-18 year olds).
