About Misha
Hey there, I’m Misha—a South African educator, wife, mom, and a woman who knows the power of words. I’ve spent years working with children, families, and communities, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: language is freedom. It’s confidence. It’s connection. I got into teaching English because I’ve seen how hard it can be to express yourself when you don’t have the right words—how frustrating it is to feel smart, but not be able to show it. That hit me deep. So I made it my mission to be the kind of teacher I wish everyone had: patient, playful, sharp, and fiercely invested in your growth. I hold a TEFL certification and have years of experience teaching and caring for learners of all ages. But more than that? I teach with heart. I create a space where you can make mistakes without shame, ask the “dumb” questions (spoiler: they’re never dumb), and build real, lasting confidence. This isn’t just a job to me—it’s purpose. Watching my students go from “I can’t” to “Watch me” is what lights me the hell up.
