About Jade

Hello there, prospective student! I am delighted to have the opportunity to introduce myself to you. My name is Jade, and I am genuinely thrilled to embark on this English language journey with you. Teaching English is a deep passion of mine that has grown over the years, driven by my genuine desire to help others. I have 20+ years of professional career experience specifically in the Technology and Human Resources space. My career is supported by a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and an Honors degree in Management through Wits University South Africa. I am currently in the process of sitting for my CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) examination. So, why am I so interested in teaching English? First and foremost, I believe that language serves as a powerful bridge connecting people from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and experiences. Through teaching English, I get to play a role in building connections and fostering understanding between individuals across the globe. But it goes beyond that. Teaching English is all about empowering you through effective communication. I want to equip you with the skills and confidence to express yourself fluently, engage in meaningful conversations, pursue higher education, excel in your careers, and expand your horizons. Teaching English will also allow me to share not just the language, but also the richness of English-speaking cultures. I'm passionate about incorporating cultural elements into our lessons, giving you the opportunity to explore and appreciate the beauty of different cultures while enhancing your language skills. Creating a supportive learning environment is paramount to me. I want you to feel comfortable taking risks, making mistakes, and growing. About the lesson

Real-World Applications: Real-life applications make the language learning process more relevant and meaningful for students. I achieve this by integrating authentic materials such as news articles, videos and podcasts.

Progress Tracking: I implement a system for monitoring and tracking student progress. This would entail providing regular feedback, conducting assessments, and setting achievable goals to ensure continuous improvement.

Ongoing Support: My approach tutoring is to maintain open communication with students outside of lessons, offering support and guidance through email, chat platforms, or virtual office hours.
