About Mia
My teaching approach blends strong foundations with creativity and emotional depth. I guide students through technique, sight-reading, and theory while also exploring music as a form of personal expression. Whether you're drawn to classical sonatas or jazz improvisation, lessons are shaped around your style and goals. We work on phrasing, articulation, and tone to bring meaning to every piece. I also introduce composition basics, so students can create their own music from early on. Through harmonic analysis and storytelling, we uncover the deeper layers behind the notes. I support learners who enjoy structure and precision, as well as those who thrive on freedom and flow. Some students love diving into complex repertoire, while others shine through improvising and reinterpreting what they play.

With six years of guiding fingers across ivory keys, I offer more than just piano lessons—I offer a journey into the soul of music. Trained under the esteemed Licentiate of Music in Piano (LMusA), my approach blends technical mastery with poetic expression. For me, music is not just sound—it's a story, a symbol, a feeling waiting to be heard.
Each lesson is a quiet invitation into the world of imagination, where literature, imagery, and storytelling meet the language of the piano. My students learn to listen with their hearts, shaping phrases like brushstrokes on a canvas. Together, we explore mood, character, and emotional resonance through carefully chosen repertoire.
