About Nicholas
Hello, I'm Nicholas, a medical school student with a passion for mathematics. I bring a unique perspective to the world of tutoring, blending my deep understanding of medical science with a knack for making maths engaging and relatable. I enjoy playing the bass guitar and basketball in my free time as well as mentoring and tutoring whenever I can. During my holidays I like to travel to other countries to see and learn how they approach teaching and how different people learn as well as their cultural foods (I’m a foodie) and practices. My patient and empathetic approach, coupled with memory techniques from my medical studies, ensures that every student I work with gains a strong foundation in maths. Beyond the numbers, I aim to inspire students with my own journey and offer flexible support that aligns with their needs. Thanks for reading!

As a medical school student tutoring maths, I offer a unique approach that makes maths relevant and engaging. By sharing mnemonic devices and memory techniques, I help students not only remember key formulae but teach them how to efficiently apply them to a range of questions, even those where you might not initially see a solution to. I make learning interactive, assign regular practice, and share my journey to inspire students. With flexible scheduling and open communication, I ensure their success in maths while navigating my own demanding schedule in medical school.

Nicholas is amazing at explaining different methods for solving questions. He takes his time to explain how he got these answers and is very patient. He is also very respectful and has amazing communication skills and lets me know if the lesson needs to be rescheduled. Nicholas encourages me to work hard and to be persistent with my revision.
