About Evelyn
With over 5 years of tutoring experience and an MMath, I combine teaching with my passion for mathematics history. I explore how ancient cultures contributed to algebra, geometry, and calculus. Students learn about the origins of famous theorems and the people who discovered them. This approach shows that math is alive and evolving. I make lessons engaging by connecting history to concepts. Understanding the journey behind ideas deepens comprehension and appreciation. I highlight the stories of mathematicians and their breakthroughs. Lessons include ancient methods and their influence today. I encourage students to see patterns in both numbers and history. This builds a richer understanding and context. My goal is to make learning meaningful and inspiring. I guide learners to think critically and curiously. Mathematics becomes a cultural and intellectual adventure. I invite students to join this fascinating journey of discovery.

My maths teaching is organized and stepwise. I start from algebra and gradually move to calculus, geometry, and probability. Each topic is explained with clarity and examples. Differentiation and integration are linked to real-life applications. Geometry proofs are broken down logically. Probability and statistics are applied to data students encounter. I provide structured practice to reinforce learning. Lessons are personalized to suit each student’s pace. I focus on building confidence alongside skill. I support exam preparation and assignments effectively. I aim for students to understand deeply, not just memorize formulas. Problem-solving is emphasized in every session. I help students see patterns and connections in mathematics. My approach nurtures analytical thinking and long-lasting understanding.
