About Daniel
I am a highly qualified tutor with a unique background in both mechanical engineering and computer science. My experience teaching math, physics, and computer science at the high school and early college level has given me a deep understanding of the concepts and principles that students need to master in order to succeed. I believe that understanding the "why" behind a problem or topic is key to long-term retention and success. I approach tutoring with this in mind and help students to master the concepts and achieve their full potential.

In my lessons, I typically begin by assessing the student's current understanding of the material, and then tailor my approach to their individual needs and learning style. I use a variety of teaching methods, including problem-solving, visual aids, and hands-on activities to help students engage with the material and make connections to real-world applications.
My lessons typically last 1-2 hours, depending on the student's needs. I have 2+ years of experience teaching SAT math test prep as well as AP classes and math generally speaking, which gives me a strong understanding of the material and the skills required to help students excel in these areas.
My lessons are typically for high school and early college students, and I have experience working with students of all levels, from those who are struggling to those who are looking to take their knowledge to the next level. Overall, my goal as a tutor is to help students achieve their full potential and become confident, independent learners.
