Having achieved an ATAR of 95.1 and three Band 6s, including one in Math Advanced and one Business Studies, I possess the essential and complex knowledge to navigate the demands of questions. Also, doing very well in Math Extension 1 allows me to bring a wealth of knowledge and skill to our sessions. My qualities of determination, honesty, and trustworthiness, means that you can rely on me as we embark on this journey together.

Drawing upon my intimate familiarity with the academic environment of my former school, I've developed a teaching methodology that is finely attuned to the curriculum and the specific challenges students may encounter in their mathematical and business journey. My approach is rooted in anticipating and addressing common stumbling blocks, providing targeted guidance that facilitates understanding and mastery of diverse concepts. I utilise interactive techniques, real-world applications, and personalised instructions to ensure that each student receives the support they need to succeed. Furthermore, I place a high value on fostering an inclusive and transparent learning atmosphere where students are at ease asking questions and looking for clarification when necessary to improve their grasp of the material. I also make note of areas for improvement and document progress to ensure that students are on track to reach their goals and fulfil their potential.
Each lesson is carefully structured to optimise learning while accommodating the individual needs and pace of each student. Sessions typically span 1 hour (with a 90 minute option available upon request), allowing ample time for in-depth exploration of topics, guided practice, and review to reinforce learning.
While I have limited formal tutoring experience, I have served as a mentor in these subjects, guiding fellow students through challenging concepts and providing support in their academic journey. My role as a mentor has equipped me with valuable skills in effective communication and fostering a supportive and open learning environment. I bring a unique blend of knowledge and insight to my tutoring sessions. My mentor role in these subjects previously has enhanced my ability to connect with students, fostering a productive, encouraging and fun learning atmosphere that promotes growth and confidence to tackle any problem.
My lessons are tailored for high school students (year 11 and 12) preparing for the HSC (Higher School Certificate) exams in Math Advanced and Business Studies. Whether students are struggling with challenging concepts or aiming for top marks, my flexible and engaging approach ensures that each student receives the targeted support they need to excel and achieve their goals, big or small.
