As a tutor with 4 years of experience teaching KS3 students, I believe in a personalised approach to learning that focuses on building strong foundational skills and fostering a love of learning. My teaching techniques and methodology involve a combination of engaging activities, interactive discussions, and individualised instruction to help each student reach their full potential. In each one-hour lesson, I aim to create a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages questions, critical thinking, and active participation. My lessons typically begin with a review of the previous session's material to ensure that the student has fully grasped the concepts before moving on to new material. I then introduce new concepts using a range of teaching tools and resources, such as visual aids, real-world examples, and interactive exercises, to help the student understand the material from multiple perspectives. Throughout each lesson, I work closely with the student to identify any areas of difficulty and provide targeted feedback and support to help them overcome these challenges. I also set regular homework assignments and assessments to reinforce the concepts learned in class and help students track their progress over time.
