About Joel
I am a music student at the University of York with grade 8 piano, theory and voice. I have completed modules in harmony & counterpoint, conducting, history of 19th century music and I conduct a choir for weekly services at a parish church where I lead rehearsals, directed challenging repertoire and have composed music for. I sang as both countertenor at Hereford Cathedral and Bass regularly at York Minster for services, weddings and funerals.

I like the lecture approach where I bestow lots of information and try to answer as many questions as possible, using what I know will improve ability as a method of getting the pupil to understand as well as think for themselves when it comes to giving a full picture of how to be the best at music.
