About Max
Hey, I'm Max!
I'm an incoming Finance student at Georgia Tech with a strong math background and a pretty simple tutoring philosophy: no student is bad at math — they just haven't had it explained the right way yet.
Outside of school I'm into running, tech, and anything entrepreneurial, so I tend to explain things in real-world terms rather than straight out of a textbook. If a concept can be tied to how a business works, how a game is designed, or how an athlete trains smarter — I'll find that angle, because that's what actually makes it stick.
I'm laid back and easy to work with. There's no such thing as a dumb question in my sessions, and I'll never make you feel rushed or behind. At the same time, I'll push you to think through problems yourself rather than just handing you answers — because that's what actually builds confidence before a test.
Whether you're barely keeping up or just want to sharpen your edge, I'm happy to meet you wherever you're at.

Hi! I'm an upcoming finance student at Georgia Tech with a strong math background, passionate about making numbers click for students who find them intimidating. I am looking for middle and high school students looking to get better at math or improve their ACT score.
I specialize in:

My approach is simple: no memorizing formulas you don't understand. I focus on building real intuition so you can tackle problems you've never seen before — not just the ones we practice together.
