About Luke
Hey, my name is Luke! I am currently a rising senior at the University of Washington who dreams of becoming a Physical Therapist. I am on track to graduate in the top 5% of my cohort academically, and have experience in rehab and sports settings. Some of my hobbies include playing music like the guitar, watching sports like football and basketball, and health care! In my free time, I like to watch sitcoms too!

As a tutor, I enjoy making my lessons interactive. I usually share my iPad screen, and use that to provide a step-by-step walkthrough of how to solve certain problems. I love to use analogies, and I want to make sure the tutoring sessions are engaging, personalized, and fun!
Generally, my lesson plans start off by ensuring the lesson content is understood. I will start with a mini-lecture to introduce or review the necessary content. Then I want to spend time on practice problems! I want to start by approaching the problems myself, giving a step-by-step guide on my approach to answering problems. Then, I will guide the student through some of their own practice problems. I am a firm believer in 'practice makes perfect'!
