About Jordan

I'm Jordan, a Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering student at the University of Pennsylvania. I grew up in Seoul and graduated as valedictorian of my international high school, where I took IB and AP math and science at the highest level. I was admitted to Penn through Early Decision and was a Harvard Prize Book runner-up.

Math and chemistry are subjects I use every day in my engineering coursework, and I've been tutoring them since high school, working with middle and high school students from foundational algebra to IB Chemistry. Having learned this material very recently, I know where students get stuck and how to explain concepts in a way that clicks.

About the lesson

I tutor math, algebra, and chemistry online for middle school, high school, and college students. I'm studying Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania, graduated as valedictorian, and scored a 5 on AP Chemistry, a 7 in IB HL Chemistry, a 5 on AP Calculus BC, a 7 in IB HL Math, and a perfect 800 on SAT Math.

I start by finding the gaps behind what a student is struggling with, then break each concept into clear, step-by-step explanations followed by guided practice. I use your own class materials and tests so every lesson connects directly to your grades.

I tutored middle and high school math throughout high school, including advanced 8th graders taking high school level math, and I've tutored IB Chemistry. Whether you need to catch up, prepare for a test, or get ahead, I'll help you build real understanding and confidence.
