About William
I am a third-year student in the math specialist program at the University of Toronto with a passion for teaching maths. I have been tutoring my peers in mathematics since high school and as a result, I am experienced at breaking down complicated topics in ways that are easier to understand. I have experience working with children of all ages as a camp counselor.

Having gone through Toronto high school and first-year math myself, I am very familiar with the topics covered as well as the points of confusion. I will typically ask a student to walk me through a topic so that I can identify the part of the topic that is causing issues. After finding the steps that are causing issues I will then work through problems that highlights these steps with the student to help build their understanding. I will also explain what the applications for the particular topic are to help illustrate why it is worth furthering the students understanding.
