About Karla Paula
I am an experienced English teacher with a diverse international teaching background, having taught students from different cultures and language levels across Asia, the Middle East, and the United States. This global experience allows me to understand learners’ challenges and adapt my teaching style to meet their needs.
Philippines
I began my teaching career in the Philippines, where I built a strong foundation in English grammar, reading, writing, and speaking. Teaching in a multilingual environment helped me develop patience, clarity, and effective classroom management skills.
Singapore
In Singapore, I worked with students in a fast-paced and high-standard educational setting. This experience strengthened my ability to teach structured English, improve pronunciation, and help students communicate clearly and confidently in academic and professional situations.
United Arab Emirates
Teaching in the UAE exposed me to multicultural classrooms with learners from various nationalities. I focused on practical English conversation, workplace communication, and confidence-building, especially for non-native speakers who needed English for daily life and work.
Thailand
In Thailand, I specialized in helping students overcome fear and hesitation when speaking English. I used interactive activities, real-life scenarios, and conversation practice to help learners speak more naturally and comfortably.
United States (Current)
I am currently teaching in the United States, working within the American education system and using U.S. standards.
