About James
During high school, I tutored high school students in AP Chemistry, English, and algebra/geometry for 1.5 years. During college, I worked with elementary and middle school students over one year to aid their understanding of math and science. For the past 6 years, I have tutored over 50 people online to improve scores by around 150 points on the SAT Critical Reading section through my guide, "How I got an 800 on the SAT Critical Reading (A Story and Guide)", which has over 300,000 views on College Confidential.

I am a recent Vanderbilt University graduate with a B.E. in Chemical Engineering. I have excelled in math, science, and SAT/ACT subjects and have tutored high school, middle school, and elementary students in AP Chemistry, mathematics, and English courses. I am a patient, personable tutor who strives to help a student fully understand a concept.
