About Luca
I am a passionate Guitar tutor with over 7 years of experience teaching college students. I believe guitar learning should be enjoyable, practical, and confidence-building. My goal is to help students feel comfortable with the guitar and enjoy expressing themselves through music.
My teaching style is student-focused and flexible. I understand that each student has different goals, learning speeds, and musical tastes. I design lessons based on these needs so students can learn comfortably and progress steadily.
I use innovative teaching methods such as song-based learning, structured practice routines, and hands-on technique exercises. Students learn chords, strumming patterns, fingerstyle techniques, and rhythm by playing real songs. I also use backing tracks to help students improve timing and confidence.
Music theory is taught in a simple and practical way so students can apply it directly on the guitar. I also encourage creativity through improvisation and basic songwriting activities.
I create a friendly learning environment where students feel motivated and supported. My aim is to help college students become confident guitar players who enjoy practising and learning music.

My teaching methodology for Guitar centres on creativity, mentorship, critical thinking, and accountability. I focus on helping students develop technical skills while exploring their personal musical style. Lessons include improvisation, composition, and experimenting with various musical genres.
Critical thinking is emphasised in every lesson. I guide students to understand chord progressions, scales, and song structures so they can analyse music, improvise, and solve challenges independently.
Accountability is essential. I help students set clear goals, maintain consistent practice, and track progress. Constructive feedback and encouragement keep students motivated and confident.
Besides Guitar, I teach music theory, ear training, songwriting, and performance techniques. Lessons are customised to the student’s pace, interests, and learning style, making them practical and enjoyable.
My aim is to mentor students into independent, creative musicians who can confidently play, compose, and enjoy music for life.
