About Simona
I have been teaching for 8 years now and I have taught over 300 students.
I teach different levels, from little kids (my youngest are 6 months old!) to senior students (my oldest one was 74!) and everyone progressed differently because everyone has different goals, individual speed and many other contributing factors.
I am proud of each and every one of my students, those who I have taught to have small conversations, those whose English has improved through the roof! Some of my students have continued on to universities abroad or were able to do exchange programs abroad because their confidence level in their language skills has increased.
And I cannot forget the little ones who when first started learning with me had no idea what sort of bird language I was speaking to them, but are now able to have clear communication with me, express their needs and wants, talk about themselves and their families and so much more.
I have taught exam preparation classes such as TOIEC and TOEFL and am proud to say that over 80% of my students pass with very high marks.

Hello and welcome to my profile.
My name is Simona and I teach English as a foreign language. I have a BA in English Language and Literature and I trained as a teacher in 2009 (CELTA) and have since then taught in countries like the UK, Lithuania, Japan, Indonesia and Mexico.
I love teaching and I am a firm believer that while fast and visible progress is important, even more important is having fun while you're studying. The two things aren't mutually exclusive. If you are having fun and enjoying yourself, you are learning faster. If you're just there to be there and get through the material, then well, you're not learning at the speed you could be.
Each student is different so I tailor my lessons by learning about the student's needs and wants and audit our progress frequently to make sure that we keep on the right path.
