About Alisha M
I am super passionate about teaching and math! I taught all subjects in 3rd grade for 7 years; math and science in 4th grade for 2 years; math and science in 5th grade for 1 year; college algebra for 1 year; and am currently teaching 8th grade pre-algebra! My goal for you is to feel confident and comfortable in engaging with math!

Teaching methods: Hands-on teaching, making real-life connections, learning through games and mistakes. A typical lesson plan would be me modeling how to solve a problem, we solve a few together while having meaningful math conversations, and you do a few on your own. I love math and making learning fun and engaging! The lessons are for people at any level that need assistance.
