About Lexie
At the age of 10, I moved to England with my family and was home-educated for 4 years, returning to formal education at 14. I became adept at self-directed study which has been an invaluable skill throughout the rest of my education. I achieved an average grade of 8.7 in my GCSE examinations and 4 A*s in my A levels. These were in Chemistry, Physics, Maths and Further Maths. I have also been a strong music student throughout my entire childhood, receiving a diploma in Cello at the age of 13. This has greatly developed my time management and team-work. Throughout high school, I assisted many students in understanding concepts clearly which I believe was extremely beneficial to both my own understanding and theirs. This has continued and I take great pride in being someone my peers can turn to when they need help understanding concepts. I am currently studying a Bachelor and integrated Master program at the University of Queensland in Aerospace Engineering and am the recipient of a Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship.

I like to tailor my techniques to meet individual needs and learning styles but primarily find problem sheets and interactive discussions to be most effective in making complex concepts accessible and engaging. Sessions typically last 30-60 minutes depending on the age and preference of the student. I cater to students of various levels and ages. My main area of focus is years 7-10.
