About Joshua
I am currently a student at Villanova University studying both Economics and Statistics. I also work in the financial industry as an investment analyst and book keep for small businesses. My passion for math comes from all of my work being data driven, meaning that I enjoy working with numbers and believe that calculations are the driving force in all businesses and such. I want to teach and tutor because I also have a huge passion for people learning about math and enjoying it as much as I do, and enjoying something makes it easier to study, learn, and become better at the subject.

Lessons will always be catered towards the topics that the student needs help with. I believe in understanding concepts and the intuition behind them, rather than just going through numerous practice problems. The lessons will be focused around working through problems and learning the concepts that support the topic. Talking through the problem will be a major part in the lesson, because I believe that if a student can talk me through a question correctly, then they will have no trouble solving it on an exam or homework.
